J&A-Santa Maria, LLC, a wholly owned affiliate of Janechek & Associates has contracted with the Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria CA to produce electricity and waste heat. The plant, which utilizes landfill gas from the Santa Maria Landfill, consists of  a Jenbacher JGS320 internal combustion engine generating 1 megawatt of electricity.
